PLANNING FOR SUCCESS.

Planning is thinking about and organizing the activities required to achieve a desired goal. Planning involves the creation and maintenance of a plan. As such, planning is a fundamental property of intelligent behavior. This thought process is essential to the creation and refinement of a plan, or integration of it with other plans.

Very few successes in life happen by chance. Mostly success happens by design. YOU have to design for YOUR own success, i.e. you have to PLAN for your success. However, the sad fact is that most people fail to plan for their success and end up falling into someone else's plan.

BENEFITS OF PLANNING
• Planning increases the efficiency of an organization.
• It reduces the risks involved in modern business activities.
• It facilitates proper coordination
• It aids in organizing all available resources.
• It gives right direction
• It is important to maintain a good control.
• It helps to achieve objectives
• It encourages creativity and innovation.

Here’s how to begin to plan with a purpose:

Go through your life thoroughly. What is your gift? What do you want to be in the future? What is your passion? (i.e., something you would love to do even if you were not paid to do it.)

Write it down. Most of the people who have achieved their dreams took the first step towards achieving them: they wrote them down.

Plan a route to get there. Write down what ever it will take you to reach your dream

Put your piece of paper where you can see it and remind yourself of your goals.

Work your plan. Put it into action by following the route to your dream. It may mean adjusting a lot of things in your life, but it will be worth it one day.

Dismiss negativity and begin to speak your future in the present. This will assimilate into your mind and help you to persevere towards your dream.

THERE IS MONEY INSIDE THAT PROBLEM BY SAM ADEYEMI

I want to share a very interesting series with you on how to become rich by simply solving problems. Robert Allen, a renowned author said in his book, Multiple Streams of Income that every challenge you face has a cash value. On the surface, that looks like a contradictory statement, but it is the truth.

In fact, another author says that anywhere you see problems just substitute it for cash. This is what both authors mean. It is only by solving problems that you can become wealthy.

The more significant problems you solve, the more money you have. So when you run away from problems or allow them to overwhelm you, you are by implication running away from money.

There was a time things were very tough at Daystar, the church I lead. We were not able to pay for the space we were using for Sunday service. In fact, there was a time the owner locked us out because we could not pay. Congregants were waiting outside so we had to look for another place.

The church was not growing after application of many church growth principles. I had to go on a fast specifically to ask God to increase the crowd so that our finances could improve. But God gave me a different agenda. He said I should not look at the money we could make from the crowd; rather I should look at the problems they had and proffer solutions to them. Then I would see my desired results.

That was exactly what I did. I went in search of information that could transform the people and I gave it to them consistently for about three years. That marked the beginning of the explosive growth we have continued to witness in the church.

That is the key!

Position yourself as a problem solver and you will never be poor.

YOUR CAPITAL IS YOUR TIME

Wow! It seems everyone wants to know how to raise capital; am I right?

Money is basically an exchange of value. The value you bring to the marketplace is what people will pay you for.

Your most important assets are your physical and mental abilities. Your most precious capital is your time.

God has given to everyone equal amount of time. The president of any country has 24 hours in a day so does the poorest man. How much is an hour worth to you?

I want you to list five ways you can convert your time to money because your capital is in your hands.

Focus on converting your time to money because your time is really all you have to sell.

See you At the Top!
